Algarve Climate

The location of the cruising area allows for year round sailing. April to November, average temperatures rarely fall below 15C whilst during July and August 25C is normal although temperatures up to 40C have been recorded. During the hottest months coastal regions benefit from a cooling sea breeze and good sailing is assured with consistent gradient winds generated by the Azores high-pressure system.
